The Azienda Agricola Andreone Ambrogio in Tenuta Stroppei, Tronzano (VC), is located in Piedmont, a Nord-Ovest region of Italy, considered the heart of Italian rice cultivation, where the cultivation of rice is a deep ancient tradition, environmentally green.
Here, in the largest growing area of Europe, where we see the rice fields, protected by a layer of water, or reflect the sky, for the gradual maturing of the plants emerging from the water, go from green to bright yellow, now a century ago our story begins.

Prince of rices: the "Carnaroli"
Considered the high quality level of our product, that has been approved by the indisputably most important rice mills which annually buy from our reality paddy for further processing, we decided to market directly a part in our rice, making it work in a precise and proven traditional method.
Our rice paddy is worked "as needed" that is only a result of a specific customer's order.
This mode of operation enables us to guarantee a product always perfect, free of preservatives, and thus preserve intact the organoleptic properties of high value food of our rice.
Among the different varieties of rice cultivated, we want to highlight our rice prince: the "Carnaroli", a specific type of rice.
